It has come to our attention that some domain name registrar services (registrars are the companies that keep records of who owns which domain names) are sending postal mail ("snail mail") notices to people/companies whose domain names are soon to expire. These mailings urge you to renew your domain with their domain name registrar services. Some of these registrars sending this mailings include Registrar.com and Domain Registry of America.

These mailings do not come from us or our domain name registrar services!

When you sign up for our web site hosting services:

• If you have registered (purchased) a new domain name
  
  or
  
• If you requested we move your current name to our services

then we will send you an email approximately 60 days before your domain name is to expire. The email will come from "Vener Net Inc" (the service we use to register domain names). The email will list your domain that is soon to expire and contain a link to a secure web page for entering your renewal information (the page will have the "Vener Net" logo at the top).

We do not postal mail our domain or web hosting renewal notices!

Our domain name registration services are only $19.95 per year (a savings of over 40% compared to Network Solutions!). We believe this represents a superior value and quality service to our customers. And we are confident that you won’t find a better domain name registration or web site hosting service anywhere.

If you do choose to respond to these postal mailings from other another registrar company and transfer (move) your domain name to another service you can still keep your web site hosting services with us! However, since any other registrar service is beyond our control it is your responsibility as the owner of the domain name to work with the new registrar to transfer your domain name and ensure that it continues to work properly with your hosting services. If you choose to use another registrar service in conjunction with our web site hosting services, in all cases you agree to indemnify and "hold harmless" Vener Net Inc and Ocean View Host, their owners, officers, employees, authorized representatives and their assigns from any losses, claim or claims resulting from the use of another registrar service including but not limited to delays or interruptions in service and "Acts of God".
