1. Does Ocean View Host offer virtual web hosting?
   We offer true virtual servers. Each account gets its own IP address.
   
   
2. What kind of servers do you offer? (NT or UNIX)
   We use only Unix servers, no NT or Windows servers.
   
   
3. Does Ocean View Host offer dial-up access to the Internet?
   No. We suggest using your Internet Service Provider that you used to get here as we do not offer such services.
   
   
4. Does Ocean View Host support Microsoft Access, ASP and SQL?
   No. These are NT applications for an NT server. We only offer UNIX servers so we do not support these applications.
   
   
5. What do I need to be able to use Ocean View Host's services?
   All you need is access to the Internet and the desire to build your own web site.
   
   
6. Does Ocean View Host offer web site design services?
   Not directly but you can Email Us for recommendations of some excellent web designers.
   
   
7. Does Ocean View Host offer any database solutions?
   We offer Mysql with a PHPmyadmin web based control panel.
   
   
8. Does Ocean View Host allow cronjobs?
   Yes but for performance reasons all cronjobs must first be approved by our Technical Support Team (usually within 24 hours).
   
   
9. Does Ocean View Host support third level domains (somename.myname.com)?
   Yes. There is a onetime setup fee of $10 which includes an additional FTP account with its own username and password. Sub domain names in the format of http://www.yourdomain.com/someone/ are completely free.
   
   
10. Does Ocean View Host accept International orders?
    Yes. The best way to approach this is to use a Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express credit card.
    
    
11. How long will it take to setup my account?
    Accounts are setup 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If ordering by credit card most orders are usually setup within a few hours from the time the order is received. All server information will be sent to the email address provided in the order unless noted otherwise.

13. Which service plans include E-commerce features & capabilities?
    All our web hosting plans - Start, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Platinum Plus - include E-commerce features!
    
    
14. Does Ocean View Host support MS FrontPage?
    Yes we support MS FrontPage extensions for the 98, 2000 and 2002 versions of FrontPage.
    
    
15. Does Ocean View Host offer Telnet services?
    We offer SSH which is a secure form of Telnet with our Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum or Platinum Plus web hosting server plans. If you need this service please tell us this in the comments section of the server order form at the time of ordering and we will set you up with a SSH account.
    
    
16. How do I know how much data transfer I need?
    Generally most small to medium size business web sites will not need anymore than 2-3 gigs of data transfer a month. If you ever do go over your limit our Technical Support Team will contact you via email with the option to upgrade or purchase more bandwidth at $3 per gig.
    
    
17. Does Ocean View Host allow "warez" web sites?
    No. This is stated in our Terms of Service policy.
    
    
18. Will Ocean View Host allow an adult web site?
    Adult sites of the photo gallery, photo exchanges, sex shows and images etc. are not supported at this time. This is also stated in our Terms of Service policy. However, under some circumstances we will consider a site selling adult novelties and related items. Please contact our Sales Team before you sign up.
    
    
19. Can I run a message board on my web hosting server?
    Yes. All hosting plans come with a message board system already installed and ready to be used.
    
    
20. Can I install my own message board system?
    Yes. You can install your own message board system such as UBB.
